Describe uPVC Ceiling Trim bead, Nano –Naultra printed plastic

General Introduction to uPVC Decorative Trims and Nano-Coated uPVC Recessed Joint Decorative Trims for Plastering

uPVC recessed joint finishing trim is a technical uPVC profile with an additional decorative nano coating available in a wide variety of colors. It is used to create recessed grooves and decorative recessed lines on wall surfaces, as well as recessed joints in the plaster finish of walls, columns and ceilings, without the need to cut grooves or apply two plaster coats as required by traditional plastering methods.

Nano-coated uPVC recessed joint decorative trim has the same design and shape as uPVC recessed joint finishing trim but features an additional nano coating available in various colors. It is used for plastering masonry walls and is commonly designed in U-shaped or V-shaped profiles for secure installation within the plaster layer.

uPVC recessed joint decorative trim with a nano coating is available in a wide range of colors and finishes, including wood-grain, tile-grain, metallic and solid colors, making it suitable for every aesthetic requirement of a project.

uPVC recessed joint decorative trim for plastering is designed for installation in the plaster finish of masonry walls, with plaster thicknesses ranging from 5 mm to 20 mm. uPVC recessed joint decorative trim is particularly effective when creating multiple parallel recessed joints on plastered surfaces in different finishes and colors, such as tile-grain, wood-grain, stone-grain, metallic or solid colors.

Functions of Nano-Coated uPVC Recessed Joint Decorative Trims for Plastering

Nano-coated uPVC recessed joint decorative trims for plastering provide the following benefits:

  • Create recessed joints on plastered surfaces with nano coatings available in various colors, enhancing the aesthetics, refinement, visual accents and creative appearance of the plastered surface.
  • Minimize installation errors because the recessed joint finishing profiles are precise, straight, uniform and refined.
  • Divide large plastered areas into smaller sections to help reduce shrinkage cracking.
  • Enhance the aesthetics and create visual accents on plastered surfaces.
  • Standardize plastering and recessed joint formation.
  • Enable fast installation and reduce labor costs.
  • Reduce the effort required by construction workers during plastering and recessed joint finishing.

General Introduction to PVC, uPVC and Technical uPVC

uPVC recessed joint decorative trims are manufactured from uPVC, also known as PVC-U. The full name of uPVC is “Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride.” It is a form of PVC that contains no plasticizers and is also known as rigid PVC. Because of its rigidity, uPVC offers superior mechanical, physical and chemical properties compared with conventional PVC.

HAN's technical uPVC has been researched and developed on a uPVC base, with enhanced mechanical, physical and chemical properties tailored to the requirements of different construction applications.

uPVC recessed joint decorative trims are manufactured from technical uPVC to provide enhanced rigidity, toughness, elasticity, gloss, color durability and chemical resistance, making them compatible with the technical requirements of plastering work.

The nano coating on the decorative trim is made from nano materials and comprises multiple layers to ensure secure adhesion to the PVC substrate. The structure of the nano coating is as follows:

uPVC recessed joint finishing trims are safe for installers and users.

The durability of uPVC recessed joint finishing trims is compatible with that of the plaster layer under normal outdoor ambient temperature and climate conditions.

How to Select and Use uPVC Recessed Joint Finishing Trims for Plastering to Achieve High Technical and Economic Efficiency

To achieve high technical and economic efficiency when using uPVC recessed joint finishing trims, customers should note the following:

No. Item Points to consider What to avoid
1 Product code Clearly identify the correct HAN product code when installation requirements have already been specified.
2 Design For indoor areas with low dust levels, select a U-shaped recessed joint finishing trim. For outdoor applications, prioritize a V-shaped recessed joint finishing trim. Do not select a lower-cost design while overlooking installation, usage and aesthetic requirements.
3 Dimensions Consider aesthetic requirements when selecting dimensions.
4 Standard lengths For small quantities, use HAN's standard lengths of 2 m, 2.5 m and 3 m. For large projects, profiles should be cut to the required lengths to minimize waste and costs. Avoid surplus materials that cause waste and increase installation costs.
5 Quantity Determine the required quantity and specifications in full, with an additional allowance for waste.
6 Order lead time Ensure the products are available in the on-site warehouse before installation begins to avoid affecting the construction schedule. Avoid placing orders too close to the installation date, as this may affect the construction schedule.
7 Identifying the HAN brand Contact an authorized dealer or purchase directly from HAN. The packaging should clearly display HAN's information, including the product code, address and telephone number. Products in packaging that does not clearly display HAN's factory information may not be genuine HAN products.
8 Responsible personnel Personnel with appropriate knowledge and experience should work directly with HAN's technical advisory team when making purchasing decisions.
9 Installation method Follow all HAN installation instructions: fully bed the profile in mortar, apply the correct plaster thickness, and secure the profile firmly at the correct elevation to achieve optimal performance and aesthetics. For product codes supplied with temporary protective film, determine the appropriate time for removal to maintain product quality.
10 Storage method Follow the transportation and storage recommendations to maintain product quality before installation.

To achieve a high-quality installation of uPVC recessed joint finishing trims, remove the protective film at the appropriate time: after installation, cleaning and completion of all related work. This provides the best protection for the trim surface before the product is put into use.

Proper Transportation and Storage Methods for uPVC Finishing Trims

Important notes when transporting HAN uPVC finishing trims:

  • Do not drag cartons across the ground or throw them down from a height.
  • Do not leave cartons leaning or standing upright for extended periods.
  • Use trucks with flat cargo beds and enclosed bodies or tarpaulin covers to protect the products from rain during transportation.
  • When transporting different types of trims in the same vehicle, follow this rule: longer and heavier products must be placed underneath, while shorter and lighter products must be placed on top.
  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on the cartons. Ensure that the cartons are not bent, distorted or punctured during transportation.
  • Load and unload the trim cartons correctly to prevent tearing, bending or distortion.

Important notes when storing HAN uPVC finishing trims:

  • Store indoors on pallets in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, water, soil, mud, moisture, mold and high temperatures.
  • Do not store trim cartons upright. Do not leave individual profiles standing upright or leaning for extended periods, as this may cause them to bend.
  • When the profiles are not in use, clean them and return them to their cartons for storage. This helps keep the profiles in optimal condition, prevents dust accumulation and preserves their color, smoothness and gloss.
  • Do not turn the cartons upside down. Keep them in the correct orientation as indicated by the directional arrows on the cartons.

Quality Standards for uPVC Recessed Joint Finishing Trims

HAN uPVC internal corner finishing trims fully comply with the following relevant standards:

  • Standards: ASTM D638, ASTM D790, ASTM D1525, ASTM D648.
  • Complies with all relevant requirements of applicable Vietnamese construction standards (TCVN).
  • High-quality uPVC finishing trims must meet the following requirements:
The quality of the uPVC material, including its mechanical, physical and chemical properties, must meet installation, plaster-bonding and service requirements. The finished profile must have a flat, straight and uniform appearance and conform to the specified dimensions.
